On Saturday 13th May 2023, Alex EA8DKV, a radio amateur from Spain reached the summit of Punta de los Roques and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made a total of 15 contacts on the 10m amateur radio band.
The summit of Punta de los Roques is 2091 metres (6860 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
