On Sunday 18th June 2023, Stuart VK7FADZ, a radio amateur from the state of Tasmania reached the summit of Rodway Range and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 14 contacts in total working on the 40m amateur radio band.
