On Wednesday 2nd August 2023, Samuel OE6WSD/P, a radio amateur from Austria, reached the summit of Rosennock and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 8 contacts in total working on the 2m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Rosennock is 2440 metres (8005 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
