Ruins of Old Vasa Church

The church St.Mary in the old Vaasa was originally built in the 14th century and enlarged at the end of 17th century with further alterations in the next century. It was destroyed in the great fire of 1852 and was not rebuilt. The surviving courthouse from 1776 was instead converted to a church.
