Staten Island Paramount Theatre

Staten Island Paramount Theatre (StreetView)
Originally a true live performance theater, the Paramount closed as a movie palace in the 1970's. However, it continued to be a venue for live entertainment, with some of the bands that played there The Ramones, Metallica (opening for Venom), the Dead Kennedys, and the B-52s. The Paramount finally closed for good in the late 1980s
