On Friday 3rd May 2024, Svein LA8XGA/P, a radio amateur from Norway, reached the summit of Store Surtningssue and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 32 contact in total working on the 30m and 20m bands.
The summit of Store Surtningssue is 2368 metres (7769 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
