On Tuesday 16th April 2024, Svein LA8XGA/P, a radio amateur from Norway reached the summit of Vestre Kalvehøgde and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 47 contacts in total working on the 40m, 30m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Vestre Kalvehøgde is 2208 metres (7244 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
