As a present for her 60th birthday, Ellen DeGeneres' wife, Portia de Rossi set up a fund and campus in Ellen's name at the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. The contribution to develop the campus was reported to be $13.4M. The campus is a center for gorilla conservation and scientific research.
