On Sunday 1st October 2023, Zvone S52O/P, a radio amateur from Slovenia, reached the summit of Tolminski kuk and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 46 contacts in total working on the 70cm, 2m, 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Tolminski kuk is 2085 metres (6841 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
