On Thursday 10th August 2023, Igor S5/IV3NGF, a radio amateur from Italy, reached the summit of Trentski Pelc and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 25 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m, 20m and 17m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Trentski Pelc is 2116 metres (6942 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
