Translink No.2114 – FGZ3114 is a Volvo B5TL Hybrid with Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodywork which has a H47/25F seating configuration. It was delivered new in 2017.
The Volvo B5TL low-floor double decker bus chassis was Volvo’s Euro 6 compliant replacement for B9TL No. 2114 is a diesel electrically powered bus which is well suited to congested city centre operation.
The Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini 3 bodywork produced by Wrightbus in Northern Ireland is the latest version of the popular Eclipse Gemini bodywork which is very popular in the UK and Ireland.
Double-decker buses were absent from Belfast streets between 1989 and 2001.
