Translink No.2213 – SEZ2213 is a Volvo B9TL with Wright Eclipse Gemini bodywork which has a H54/30F seating configuration. It was delivered new in 2008.
The Volvo B9TL low-floor double decker bus chassis was built with either 2 or 3 axles, it was superseded by Volvo’s Euro 6 compliant replacement the B5TL and ceased production in 2018.
The Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini bodywork produced by Wrightbus in Northern Ireland was developed from the Wright Eclipse bodywork for low-floor single deck buses.
Double-decker buses were absent from Belfast streets between 1989 and 2001.
Here on Street View No.2213 is seen in Belfast city centre wearing Translink Metro’s bright pink livery. It operates from Translink’s Falls Road Depot in the city.
