A popular bar on Capitol Hill, the Tune Inn is a frequent stop for members of Congress. Back in March, a large group of House Democrats (including Reps. Bart Stupak, Anthony Weiner and Melissa Bean) celebrated there after the health care bill passed.
On Wednesday, the Inn will attract a different crowd: a film crew. According to a source close to the restaurant, the Food Network series “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” — which highlights restaurants serving comfort food spanning from the classic (like hot dogs and tacos) to the outrageous (think quadruple-decker club sandwiches dipped in gravy) — will tape part of a show devoted to Washington there.
