The Union Pacific Railroad Museum is Council Bluffs' latest historical treasure. The merger between Council Bluffs and the Union Pacific Railroad began when Abraham Lincoln and Gen. Grenville M. Dodge stood atop a bluff and envisioned our city eastern terminus of the nation's first transcontinental railroad.
