On Saturday 10th September 2022, Elena EA4DOS/P and EA4DON/P, a couple of radio amateurs from Spain reached the summit of Valdecebollas and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
They made 66 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and 40, 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Valdecebollas is 2139 metres (7018 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
