In Sct. Peder Stræde in Copenhagen you can find vintage shop signs.
This one was for dairies of the Danish cooperative movement (Andelsbevægelsen).
Before the major supermarkets opened in Denmark at the end of the 70th. there were small shops in every street side by side.
The sign here advertising for milk, butter and cheese and with the happy red white cow Karoline showing quality. It was designed in 1958. Today the international brand Arla has taken over and these dairies are gone. Each dairy had it's own sort of milk product.
