Water Tower - Les Rouquetes

A water tower on the summit of Les Rouquettes in the Massif-Central area of France near to the commune of Figeac

Similar water towers are common throughout France. They are used to maintain hydrostatic pressure in the water distribution system and thus lower costs by removing to pump water through the network.

This water tower is also used a telecommications tower to relay signals in the surrounding area.
