made contact with Tomasz DL/SP1ETT/P, a radio amateur from Poland who was operating from Wildes Moor bei Schwabstedt (DLFF-0366) on the 40m amateur radio band. Tomasz made a total of 132 contacts while he was in the reserve.
Wildes Moor bei Schwabstedt (DLFF-0366), is a protected area of 631 hectares located approximately 15km East of Husum in Schleswig-Holstein. It was designated as a Nature Reserve in 1992.
Wildes Moor is a wetland with fen and raised moor areas. The raised moor areas in the reserve are rare in the Eider-Treene-Songa region which is largely characterised by fenland.
