I'd say they're HMX-1's VH-60 models that are standing by for the POTUS or VIPs.
They're based at Quantico, and often operate out of Anacostia, but that doesn't mean they can't use Andrews as a handy base to keep a few birds close to town.
RN201 is a high-back Mk XIV with Rolls Royce Griffon power. It was built at the Keevil dispersal factory in early 1945 and delivered to No. 9 MU at Cosford on 22 February that year.
Once the war in Europe was over, RN201 emerged from store and was allocated to No 83 Group Support Unit in July and stayed with this unit until December 1945 when it was allocated to 350 (Belgian) Squadron at Fassberg. In May 1946 it was transferred back to the UK to No...

I know they are not visible from Asbury/Anderson road.
I've seen a very similar three legged arch/antenna at a US Navy installation here on VGT before. I thought it was at Carderock ( http://virtualglobetrotting.com/map/5317/ ) but it's not.

Rumor has it that this was a group of SpecOps trainees from a "friendly nation" on a training jump. Apparently someone said "GO" too soon and since two guys were already out the door, everybody went with them. Gotta keep together.
Note that their I.D. cards showed them as DOD employees, not soldiers or marines.

This is a US Navy installation.
I'm betting that these are P-3s.
