Description: Cefn Coed railway viaduct built in 1866 to carry the Brecon and Merthyr Railway over Taf Fawr. It has recently been refurbished by Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council with the assistance of a grant from the National Lottery. The viaduct is 770 feet long with a height of 115 feet. The railway line was closed in the 1970s.
