A larger-than-life figure skater is seen at the entrance of the Culver City Ice Arena. According to agilitynut.com, this was originally located at the Ice Capades Hollywood office in the late 50's or early 60's. It was moved to the West Covina Ice Arena in the late 60's and eventually ended up on display in Culver City.
This rink was at one time the practice facility used by the Los Angeles Kings NHL team.
