The Serpent D'Océan was completed in 2012 by Chinese-French artist Huang Yong Ping. The 400 foot long serpent was apart of the Estuaire art exhibit that encouraged artists to use the environment surrounding the Loire River area from Nantes to Saint-Nazaire.
