Currently a church, the interior of this former "atmospheric" baroque auditorium of the Valencia Theater in Jamaica, Queens, is one of New York City's preservation success stories. Once threatened, it is now immaculately kept up by the Tabernacle of Prayer for All People - at a time when landmark designation of religious structures is being debated.
