I believe this to be HMCS Huron (DDH 281), an Iroquois-class destroyer of the Canadian Navy. She was laid down June 1, 1969, launched April 9, 1971 and commissioned December 16, 1972. Huron was laid up in reserve in Esquimault in November 2000 and officially decommissioned in 2005. Her future fate is uncertain but she will possibly be sunk as an artificial reef.
