Hotel D'Angleterre is a five star hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located on Kongens Nytorv opposite Charlottenborg and Nyhavn. Tracing its history back to 1755, the current building was built 1873-75, the work of leading Danish architect Vilhelm Dahlerup.[1] It has long been considered the most prestigious and opulant hotel in the city. The hotel's name means "Hotel of England" in French.
