[Days Inn] requests that Selena fans abstain from visiting to give their guests greater privacy; Selena was shot in Room 158, March 31, 1995. Furthermore, all rooms have been renumbered using odd numbers only; the Days Inn has a policy prohibiting their employees from disclosing which room had been number 158. Signs are also posted at the beginning of each driveway leading to the back from the Registration Office stating, "Only registered guests beyond this point."

I don't think they should have changed the room numbers. After all, I think I would like to know if I was staying in the same room that Selena was killed! Also I'm sure that if people knew what room Selena was shot in, I doubt anybody would want to sleep there.

it's actually not room 127, I don't know where you got that info..it's room 150 now..I am going there in march. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2H6gcMR8Ls My friend made this video...those who want to visit that room..it's room 150 now...NOT room 127
