According to http://www.molluscan.com/map/reefs.jpg and http://w2.byuh.edu/clubs/smv/sgallery/slides/Map%20of%20Singapore.html This island is Pulau Sudong, which apparently is home to the the government's malaria research center. (Haven't been able to cross-verify that yet.) This might explain the airstrip... |
