Description:Qaarsut Airport (IATA: JQA, ICAO: BGUQ) is an airport located in Qaarsut on the Nuussuaq Peninsula, in the Qaasuitsup municipality in western Greenland. It was inaugurated on 29 September 1999. Unlike the heliport in the much larger neighboring town of Uummannaq, Qaarsut Airport can serve Dash-7 aircraft of Air Greenland, thus functioning as a mini-hub for Uummannaq.
