The Loupin Stanes

The Loupin Stanes is a stone circle located in the Scottish county of Dumfries and Galloway. The stone circle consists of 12 standing stones. The circle is now sitting in a field with sheep.

Nearby is the Girdle Stanes, which is another stone circle. A line of standing stones stand between the two circles are it is believed these standing stones are the remains of an avenue that linked the two stone circles together.
