Forgive my ignorance of this part of the world, but isn't this airport located at the island of stone money? if it is, then let me state a fact that it is quite known that this small island have the largest form of currency in the world--crystalline stone discs that can be 9 ft in diameter! oddly, the value of the "coins" did not center around it's size but rather its history (how many bloodshed?etc.). these things are quite interesting, and if any one wants to see one in person, head to the Smithsonian Museum, or Paris, or simply go to the island--but i must say, the airfares are ridiculously high! Still good fun to stumble on a picture of the charming airport.

I can imagine the airfares go even higher if you try to pay with the 9' stone coins. ;0)
