On Thursday 11th May 2023, Mike KE5AKL, a radio amateur from Albuquerque, NM reached the summit of this peak and activated it on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 27 contacts in total working on the 40m, 20m and 15m amateur radio bands.
The summit of this peak is 3054 metres (10020 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
