On Tuesday 25th July 2023, Gregory W7GA, a radio amateur from South Jordan, UT reached the summit of this peak and became the first to activate it on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 13 contacts in total working on the 20m amateur radio band.
The summit of this peak is 3324 metres (10906 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
