On Friday 22nd July 2022 Gregory W7GA a radio amateur from South Jordan, UT reached the summit of Mount Baldy and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 6 contacts in total working on the 40, 30 and 17 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit Mount Baldy is 3335 metres (10941 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
