On Sunday 24th September 2023, Jo I1WKN/P, a radio amateur from Italy, reached the summit of Becca Pouegnenta and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 26 contacts in total working on the 70cm, 2m, 6m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Becca Pouegnenta is 2827 metres (9275 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
