On Tuesday 26th March 2024 at 12:40 UTC, Mario DJ2MX, a radio amateur from Germany, made contact with Juerg HB9BIN/P, a radio amateur from Switzerland, who was operating from Belchen-Passwang Natural Monuments (SO Part) (HBFF-0429), on the 10m amateur radio band. Juerg made a total of 53 contacts while at the reserve.
Belchen-Passwang Natural Monuments (SO Part) (HBFF-0429), is a protected area of 230.97 hectares located in the Solothurn Canton, lying south of Basel in the north of Switzerland. It has reference number 1012 on the Landscapes and Natural Monuments Inventory maintained by the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN).
