On Sunday 23rd April 2023, Marko 9A/S57MS/P, a radio amateur from Slovenia reached the summit of Bijela kosa and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 24 contacts in total working on the 70cm,2m, 40m,20m, 17m, 15m and 10m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Bijela kosa is 1332 metres (4370 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
