Portland Rose Festival usually 1st week of June or so lots of stuff to do. Sometimes it rains just for that week then weather goes back to nice. Navy ships come in as you can see. also if you move up river(to the left or west and go just past the freeway bridge and then across the river you will see a submarine which is always there. It is at OMSI, Oregon Museum of Science and Industry its the sub from Hunt for Red October. U.S.S. Blueback (SS 581). We also have the worlds smallest park. Mill Ends Park. also Rocky Butte is an extinct volcanic cinder cone in Portland, Oregon, United States. It is one of three, along with Powell Butte, and Mount Tabor, inside the city that are each home to a city park. I had to throw that in. They are all only about 20 minutes from downtown. I will try to find out how to post pics but not to computer savy.
