On Sunday 31st July 2022 Bjoern I2/DL7RAY/P a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Cima della Manzina and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 25 contacts in total working on the 40 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit of Cima della Manzina is 3318 metres (10886 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
