Cregneash is a small village not far from the southern tip of the Isle of Man and is a ‘living museum’ operated by Manx National Heritage.

The Museum is intended to preserve a small Manx village from the nineteenth century, and it contains several thatched Manx cottages which exhibit traditional farming and fishing equipment.

There is a central museum building which has much historical information and many of the cottages are accessible to visitors to permit them to witness typical rural activities which are carried out by Museum employees wearing traditional Manx dress.
