On Tuesday 5th July 2022 Warren N7CW a radio amateur from Prescott, AZ reached the summit of Davenport Hill and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 39 contacts in total working on the 40, 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Davenport Hill is 2380 metres (7808 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
