This old iron bridge once carried the Killin Railway over a small river. The Killin Railway was a railway in Scotland that took tourists from Loch Tay, through KIllin and eventually joined the Callander and Oban Railway at Killin Junction. The small railway was a branch line of the Callander and Oban Railway. The railway opened in 1886 and closed in 1965 when the Callander and Oban Railway closed.
Today a cycle and footpath now goes along this old section of railway and over the bridge.
