On Saturday 2nd September 2023, Tak 7M4QZE/7, a radio amateur from Japan, reached the summit of Eboshidake and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 24 contacts in total working on the 40m and 15m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Eboshidake is 2017 metres (6617 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
The summit of Eboshidake is in the Yamagata Prefecture on Honshu Island.
