3.2 million square feet, the size of 55 football fields -- gone.

Closed in March 2006.

This saddened me so much.

Bing aerial imagery shows the plant intact before any signs of demolition.
Switching between aerial and Bird's Eye View is astounding. BEV shows the property actively being demolished and in piles of scrap ready to be hauled away. Then the Google imagery shows the site completely bulldozed, almost completely empty.
