On Saturday 15th July 2023, Dave HB9YNL/P, a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Grieshorn / Corno Gries and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 10 contacts in total working on the 2m and 10m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Grieshorn / Corno Gries is 2968 metres (9738 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
