On Monday 23rd October 2023, Gregory W7GA, a radio amateur from South Jordan, UT reached the summit of Griffin Top and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 12 contacts in total working on the 15m amateur radio band.
The summit of Griffin Top is 3286 metres (10781 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
