On Tuesday 9th August, Carine HB9FZC/P and Rene HB9NBGP two radio amateurs from Switzerland reached the summit of Guraletschhorn and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 24 contacts in total working on the 40 metre HF amateur radio band.
