On Saturday 6th August 2022 Andreas 5B8AP/P a radio amateur from Cyprus reached the summit of Μαδαρή (Madari) and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 9 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit of Μαδαρή (Madari) is 1613 metres (5292 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
