Letalnica Bratov Gorišek

Letalnica bratov Gorišek (short: Letalnica; original name: Velikanka bratov Gorišek or Velikanka) not to be confused with Bloudkova velikanka, is a ski flying hill located in Planica, Slovenia.

Historic jump over 200 meters was set on this hill on March 17, 1994. Austrian jumper Andreas Goldberger jumped 202 meters and became the first man ever to jump over two hundred meters, but unfortunately he touched snow with his hands and the record didn't become valid. Just a few minutes later Finnish jumper Toni Nieminen jumped 203 meters standing on his feet is officially considered as the first man who landed over two hundred meters.
