The parking garage for the Washington Capitals practice facility features several banners of Capital players past and present.

Mike Gartner played with the Capitals from 1979-89. He would play nine more seasons with the Minnesota North Stars, New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Phoenix Coyotes. He racked up 708 goals and 627 assists in 1432 games.
