On Saturday 8th October 2022, Kobayashi 7M4QZE/1, a radio amateur from Japan, reached the summit of Mitousan and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 7 contacts in total working on the 70cm UHF amateur radio band.
The summit of Mitousan is 1531 metres (5023 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
Mitousan is in the Tokyo Prefecture on Honshu Island.
